To run the salon and manage bookings, we use Luminate Salon, our salon-management system. When you book an appointment online, attend a visit, or share treatment information with us, the relevant personal data (name, contact details, appointment history, service preferences and any treatment or allergy notes) is stored within Luminate Salon on our behalf.

Luminate Salon hosts all client data within the European Economic Area (EEA), so your information stays in jurisdictions covered by GDPR and equivalent data-protection laws. Luminate Salon acts as a data processor under a written Data Processing Agreement, which requires them to handle your data only on our instructions, apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures, and assist us in meeting your data-subject rights.

6. Data Retention

Personal data will be stored until you withdraw your consent or there is no longer a legitimate reason for us to retain it. Allergy and patch test records are kept for a minimum of 6 years for insurance purposes. Where data is held within Luminate Salon, the same retention periods apply, and records are deleted from the system when they are no longer needed.

7. Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites.
